A Kiss From A Star

Life is like a garden; it is full of seasoned and intriguing creatures that deliver colourful and flavorsome experiences. And just like a real garden that has trees, weeds and thorns; life comes with laughter, tears and pain.
So, as I get out and wonder around, I watch my step to avoid the thorns - half the time I fail, no matter how hard I try. This does not make me despair. I limp along and continue to look for laughter.  I continue to think of each day as a summery season that glows with sunshine and light. I allow the cosmos to fill me with joy and love as I reach out for peace.

I keep on moving. I continue to take each step purposefully. I take in huge breathes, which fill me with optimism and hope as I reach out for trust.  Whenever it becomes extra hard, I make time to kick the still sand as I watch the waves.

I also stroke the grass and pick a flower; and act as if the bee sting was just a kiss from a star. I embrace the sweet wound with love and care.  I enjoy the beauty of collective existence as I remind myself that it is all part of the universal garden; which keeps on flourishing and bearing fruit.

Indeed, it is all woven together into a strong thread that tours to the core; to the root!
